For Christmas I was given this gorgeous chic & antique cart on wheels. With all of my time and money being put into our nursery it’s taken me awhile to focus on it but I finally dressed her up and I am very pleased with the end result.
With all we have going on right now money is rather tight; I knew that I couldn’t spend much. So I set out for my local thrift store. What I love about thrift shopping is the challenge. You have to have an eye and be able to visualize the one mans trash as your own treasure. Look past what it is so you can see what it could be. Never underestimate the power of spray paint.
From Target, I found a metal deer head on clearance for $10.oo. The left ear was wobbly but I knew it was nothing a little hot glue couldn’t fix. I also grabbed some starry lights for $3.00, two packs of fancy straws for a $1.00 each. & a springy milk jug all from the “dollar section.”
Although I won’t be able to take advantage of my new bar tonight… it won’t be long till I can enjoy a nice glass of red wine before bed. That is in-between a few diapers and baby tears I’m sure. For some seriously GREAT bar cart inspiration follow this awesome insta I came across the other night Bar Cart Supply.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
