Happy Friday WITCHES !! I’m exactly 7 hours away from a tall glass of red and in light of the weekend and Halloween being frighteningly around the corner I decided I would share how I added a little “BOO” to my booze cart.
I am obsessed with chalk board signs because they are so cheap and easy to make yourself. As you may have already read before, I purchase most of my old canvases/art pieces or sometimes even old mirrors from the Goodwill and paint over them with Chalk Board Paint I get from Lowes. No Chalk Board Paint is better than the other if you ask me. I then free hand what I want my board to say with a fat white chalk pen I get from Target. I prefer fat verses thin because my writing is less sloppy this way.
My poison bottles were a fast, cheap DIY project. We had a lot of old bottles that were just a sip away from empty. So I cleaned them up and gave them a makeover.
Getting the labels off of liquor bottles can be a real pain in the ass. But by letting them soak in hot soapy water for a day or two the labels then practically fall off. I hardly needed to scrub at them. I left the wine bottles as their original stain and spray painted the clear bottles with black spray paint.
I printed out my own labels using the regular Paint software on my computer. And then Mod Podged them right onto the surface.
I hope you guy’s enjoyed this post. Thanks so much for reading!!
